Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible?

Interior Group Technologies Ltd, at the address above, determines how personal information is used for this website and enquiries addressed to GENLY. You can contact us at info@genlydna.com. The DIFC Data Protection Law applies to our processing. Where applicable, the EU GDPR or other mandatory privacy laws also apply.

2. Website access and hosting

The website is hosted by Shopify. When you request a page or asset, technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, and error or security information may be processed to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems. Our basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functioning website; where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(f). These data are necessary for an internet connection and website delivery.

3. Cookies, storage and media

Shopify uses cookies and similar technologies to provide the store securely, remember language preferences and, depending on your consent and the store configuration, support analytics and additional features. You can accept, reject or change optional purposes through the cookie settings. We have not added advertising pixels or external video players. Media and fonts are delivered through Shopify and its content network. Information about Shopify’s own processing: Shopify Privacy Policy Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled: Shopify may combine store data with data from other stores to improve services, personalization and advertising, subject to your cookie choices. The data-hosting location shown for this store is the United States.

4. Contacting us

Email links open your chosen email application; clicking does not send a message. If you email us, we process your address, name if provided, message and attachments to respond and keep a record of the conversation. Google Workspace provides our email service. The basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering general enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or (f), where applicable). Please do not send DNA files, medical records or biological samples through this contact channel.

5. Recipients and international processing

Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers needed for hosting and email. Shopify and Google operate internationally; processing may take place outside the DIFC and your country, including in the United States. The transfer mechanism depends on the recipient and applicable law, including an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You may request information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry, including a copy where available, using our privacy contact. We do not represent that the current website or future genetic service stores all data exclusively in the EU.

6. How long information is kept

Information is kept for the period necessary for the stated purpose. For correspondence, this depends on whether the enquiry is resolved, whether a business relationship follows and whether records are needed for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. Technical retention depends on the hosting service and security needs; a longer period may be necessary for a specific incident. This website has no customer DNA database and no active sample-storage process.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it for the future without affecting earlier lawful processing. To exercise a right, contact info@genlydna.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection and, where applicable, the competent authority in your country, including your EU supervisory authority.

8. Genetic information and the future dashboard

This website does not collect DNA samples, raw genetic files, health questionnaires or personal test results, and does not perform automated decisions about you. Illustrative reports do not refer to actual customers. A future test and results dashboard will require separate, service-specific information and any necessary explicit consent before collection. This will identify the responsible organisations, purposes, report scope, sample and data recipients, international transfers, retention and deletion arrangements. Reading this page or accepting website terms is not consent to genetic testing, research, relative matching or disclosure of genetic information.

9. External links and changes

External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. No information is submitted to those services merely by displaying a link. We will update this notice when the website or processing changes, and provide any additional notice or consent required before introducing a new processing purpose.

Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms cover use of the GENLY website provided by Interior Group Technologies Ltd. They describe website use only; they are not a purchase agreement for a DNA test. Accessing this website does not place an order, start a subscription or authorise a payment.

2. Product information and illustrations

GENLY presents a planned consumer genetics offering. The current website has no active checkout, DNA upload or kit-registration function. Report illustrations demonstrate an interface and are not individual results or evidence of a customer outcome. A test purchase will require the specific product description, total price, availability, delivery conditions and purchase terms presented before checkout.

3. Scientific and health information

Website information is general educational material, not an individual diagnosis, treatment or medical assessment. Genetic associations vary in strength and relevance and must be interpreted in context. A genetic result alone does not establish every food intolerance, the best diet or supplement dose, future health or lifespan. Do not stop medication or change medical treatment based on this website. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for symptoms and medical decisions. These statements do not remove any duties that apply to a future clinical service.

4. Permitted use

You may browse the website and share links to it. Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, interfere with operation or use the website to infringe the rights of others. Ownership and licence rights in brand assets, text, software and other material remain with their respective holders. These terms grant no wider commercial reuse licence.

5. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide accurate information and a functioning website, but may correct or update content and interrupt access for maintenance or security. No particular health, appearance, performance or financial outcome is guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory product and consumer rights.

6. Future orders and consumer rights

No payment is accepted through this website. Before any future sale, the actual seller, test and report scope, price and taxes, supported delivery countries, sample requirements, delivery and processing estimates, arrangements for unusable samples, complaints, refunds and applicable withdrawal rights must be provided. Genetic-testing consent and any consent to start a digital service will be separate where required. These website terms do not waive or shorten any statutory withdrawal or other consumer right.

7. Applicable law and contact

Mandatory protections applicable to you remain unaffected. These terms do not impose an exclusive foreign court or waive rights arising under the law of your habitual residence. Questions about the website may be sent to info@genlydna.com. Updates apply from publication to subsequent website use; they do not retrospectively change a separate agreement.
