Get Your DNA Test ↗Explore the genetic traits that help make you, you. From nutrition and weight to skin, performance and healthy ageing.
Why does coffee stay with you for hours? Why can someone else digest milk more easily? Your genes can help explain part of the difference.
GENLY brings that information together in a personal dashboard: the trait, the research behind it, and what it can mean in everyday life. Your habits and environment remain part of the picture.
Explore your potential ↗Explore eight perspectives on your DNA, from everyday wellbeing to your family’s origins.
01 / GENLYYour everyday wellbeing, in context.
Explore genetic links to sleep and your body’s natural rhythm. A different perspective on the patterns you notice every day.
02 / GENLYGet to know what works for you.
Understand genetic influences on lactose processing and selected nutrient pathways — with a clear distinction between predisposition and your current nutritional status.
03 / GENLYYour weight has more than one influence.
Genetic tendencies can help put weight gain and weight regain into context. They cannot tell you exactly how many excess calories your body will store.
04 / GENLYUnderstand the background to focus.
Explore genetic associations with sleep, caffeine response and selected cognitive traits. These are clues, not a measurement of intelligence or concentration.
05 / GENLYThe genetics behind your skin.
Learn about studied links between genetic variants, pigmentation, sun sensitivity and perceived skin ageing. A new layer of understanding for your appearance.
06 / GENLYKnow the body you train.
Discover the research into muscle and exercise-related traits. Genetic context complements your experience; it does not prescribe an ideal sport or training plan.
07 / GENLYUnderstand more about ageing well.
Explore genetic associations with ageing and longevity, alongside the role of lifestyle. Insight into the research, without a prediction of your lifespan.
08 / GENLYA closer look at your roots.
Explore estimates of regional ancestry by comparing your DNA with reference populations. One more chapter in your personal story.
A preview of the planned report areas. The confirmed traits and their evidence will be listed before ordering opens. Genetic associations vary in strength and are not a diagnosis.
A report should do more than name a gene. Explore how GENLY will connect a finding with its evidence and everyday meaning.
If some foods leave you feeling uncomfortable, understanding the genetic part can give you a useful starting point.

Some variants near LCT are associated with continued lactase production in adulthood. Lactase is the enzyme that breaks down milk sugar.
A genetic result can indicate a tendency towards lower lactase production after childhood.
This can help frame questions about milk tolerance, alongside symptoms and other testing when appropriate.
It does not identify all food intolerances or diagnose a milk allergy. Actual tolerance varies.
Living well means looking beyond a single result. Your genes, your environment and your everyday habits all have a part to play.
GENLY is designed to make the genetic part easier to understand — so you can approach the bigger picture with better questions.
A simple journey from a home sample to an understandable report.

Follow the kit’s instructions to collect your sample at home.
Your sample goes directly to the partner laboratory for analysis.
Read your results with plain-language explanations and the evidence behind each reported trait.
Most traits reflect an interaction between genes, environment and lifestyle. A genetic tendency does not determine what will happen to you.
The strength of the evidence, the populations studied and the test’s coverage all affect how a result should be interpreted.
Genotyping does not measure your current vitamin levels, microbiome or calorie absorption. Symptoms and medical questions need appropriate clinical assessment.
A closer look at what selected studies found — and what those findings can support.
A variant near LCT was associated with adult lactase persistence in the populations studied.
This concerns lactose processing, not a general test of food intolerance.Enattah et al. · Nature Genetics · 2002 ↗A large 2025 study developed genetic scores associated with BMI and weight trajectories.
A population-level association does not yield your personal percentage of calories absorbed or stored.Smit et al. · Nature Medicine · 2025 ↗MC1R variants were associated with differences in perceived facial age.
The study did not establish that a DNA test or personalised skincare makes people look younger.Liu et al. · Current Biology · 2016 ↗Personalised advice improved dietary behaviour in the Food4Me trial.
Adding genetic information did not show an additional benefit in the main analysis.Celis-Morales et al. · Int. J. Epidemiology · 2017 ↗These independent studies did not test GENLY and do not constitute endorsements. Product reports must be supported by the confirmed laboratory scope and an appropriate evidence review.
Explore genetic insights across nutrition, weight, skin, wellbeing, performance and ancestry — together in one dashboard.

You should know who analyses your sample, where data is stored, who can access it and how deletion works. These details and the required consents will be available before you order.
Read our privacy notice ↗GENLY is developing a home DNA test with a personal results dashboard. The focus is on understanding genetic predispositions related to everyday wellbeing, nutrition, weight, appearance, performance and healthy ageing. Ancestry is also part of the planned offering.
Genetics can contribute to a tendency towards higher body weight or weight regain. It cannot reliably tell you what percentage of surplus calories you will absorb or store. Those are different processes, influenced by many factors.
No. Some genetic traits, such as adult lactase persistence, can be informative. Allergies and many other causes of digestive symptoms require different assessments; they cannot be ruled in or out by a general DNA test.
No. A genetic variant can be associated with nutrient processing, but it does not measure today’s blood levels. Standard genotyping is also different from an epigenetic biological-age test.
The planned ancestry report compares DNA with reference populations to estimate regional origins. These estimates depend on the reference data and methods, and are not proof of nationality or an exact family tree.
The base product focuses on interpreting genetic insights. Personalised plans are planned as optional later add-ons and will be described and priced separately.
